here is a quick post for those of you that find you like to use your phone as much as you use your 'good camera'. i think it's neat to have the phone as an option and if it is handy and captures the moment, then it is the best camera you could possibly have. now we know that camera phones have limitations. but do not fear! there are some nifty (and FREE) apps that you can add to your phone that give you options and flexibility! the first one i used was Photoshop Express. it allows you to make some minor adjustments to your pictures that is really helpful. i have had that one for a couple of years now and i don't have any complaints. also, for anyone who is already familiar with Adobe Photoshop products it is user friendly and very intuitive. it will remind you of the Photoshop products you already use. there is another app i recently discovered and like called Camera Awesome that is similar but is much newer and of course, as with all new technology quickly coming out, it has more bells an whistles. if you're involved in social media at all you may (ha,ha) have already heard of an enormous app called Instagram. it isn't very flexible and doesn't inspire a lot of creativity but it does allow the consumer to make some changes tho their pictures for fun with a simple touch of the screen. i look at this app as something social and not photographically 'refreshing'. i'm not recommending this app unless you want to share your photo-candy instantly over the web as a part of your social media update.
well, there are so many other apps to try you could spend all day everyday hunting them down, loading them and trying them out. but these are three easy and FREE options.
